A Debt

A debt can never be repaid

A debt will always be a debt

For Money can never repay a debt for it

Money is returned but the favour lasts

And if both are repaid

The first will always be foremost

The noble cannot repay his debt

A debt is always in the noble’s neck

People are either creditors or in debt

But they are all in the Lord’s debt

And non can repay the Lord’s debt

You may not repay it

But gratitude you should show

By admission and thinks you start

Thank the Most Generous and Bountiful

And who carried it to you

Of that bounty you should give

Even should it be money

Hoping He will see that

You not ungrateful

And you meant to show thanks

For you cannot give His deserves.
