Hud 31

Hud 31

31- “AND I AM NOT SAYING TO YOU THAT I POSSES ALLAH’S TREASURES, OR THAT I KNOW WHAT IS HIDDEN AND I DO NOT SAY THAT I AM AN ANGEL, AND I DO NOT SAY TO THOSE YOUR EYES DESPISE THAT ALLAH WILL NOT GIVE THEM GOODNESS, FOR ALLAH KNOWS BEST WHAT IS INSIDE THEM, FOR THEN I WILL BE OF THE TRANSGRESSORS”.

Allah the Highest sent men as prophets and messengers.  They were not very rich or powerful, and were not angels, this is so that people can take them as an example and so that it is possible to follow them, otherwise they would be impossible to follow.

Noah, peace upon him, tells the rich and powerful of his people that he is but a man like other men; he is not rich, to pay them, and does not know what is hidden, only what Allah the Highest tells him, and he is not an angel of different nature to others.

Noah, peace upon him, tells the rich and powerful that the poor and weak of the believers are very worthy in Allah’s estimation, and that only Allah the Highest knows what is in their hearts and their true worth.  Should he or others mistreat them because of their poverty or humble status, they will then be transgressors before Allah the Highest.

Allah the Highest values people according to their faith and piety, not wealth and power.  Allah the Highest said: “THE MOST HONOURABLE OF YOU BEFORE ALLAH IS THE MOST PIOUS”.

The Muslims should use this rule in their evaluation of people.
