25- AND WE SENT NOAH TO HIS PEOPLE (SAYING): “I AM
A MANIFEST WARNER FOR YOU”.
26- “YOU SHOULD WORSHIP NO ONE BUT ALLAH, FOR I
FEAR FOR YOU THE PUNISHMENT OF A PAINFUL DAY”.
27- THE POWERFUL AND MIGHTY OF HIS PEOPLE SAID: “WE
SEE THAT YOU ARE BUT A HUMAN LIKE US, AND WE SEE THAT ONLY THOSE WITH THE LEAST
ESTEEM OF US FOLLOW YOU, AND WE DO NOT SEE YOU TO BE BETTER THAN US, BUT WE
THINK THAT YOU ARE LIARS.
Allah the Highest is telling us another aspect of the
prophecy of Noah, peace upon him.
Noah was sent to his people telling them about the painful
punishment which awaits them if they worship gods other than Allah.This warning is part of the mission of the
prophets.
Whenever a call for improvement or correction is called for, those
who have wealth and power and who are close to the seat of power, will try to
keep the balance of power the same as it is, and will do their best to prevent
any change particularly morale improvement.
Their wealth and power also make them arrogant and proud, so
much that:
