17- IS HE WHO HAS CLEAR KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
FROM HIS LORD, AND IS FOLLOWING A WITNESS OF THE TRUTH FROM HIM (FROM ALLAH),
AND BEFOREHAND THERE WAS THE BOOK OF MOSES, LEADING MANKIND AND A MERCY, THOSE
(THE BELIEVERS) BELIEVE IN IT, BUT WHOEVER REJECT IT OF THE OTHER PARTIES, THE
FIRE HAS BEEN MADE FOR THEM, THEREFORE DO NOT HAVE ANY DOUBT ABOUT IT, FOR IT
IS THE TRUTH FROM YOUR LORD, HOWEVER MOST PEOPLE DO NOT BELIEVE.
Allah the Highest is telling us that His messenger, prayer
and peace upon him, was sent to us with a clear unambiguous message.This message was delivered to Mohamed, prayer
and peace upon him, by another messenger, the angel, Gabriel, peace upon him,
who is also a witness to the truthfulness of the message.
All of Allah’s books are sent for mankind to believe in Allah
the Highest, and to show them the way to Him.Allah the Highest installed the readiness to believe, He said: “AND YOUR LORD TOOK THE OFFSPRING OF THE CHILDREN OF
ADAM FROM THEIR BACKS, AND MADE THEM BEAR WITNESS UPON THEMSELVES SAYING: “AM I
NOT YOUR LORD?”THEY SAID: “YES INDEED,
AND WE BEAR WITNESS”.SO THAT ON THE DAY
OF RESURRECTION YOU MAY NOT SAY: “WE WERE UNAWARE OF THIS”.(S:7 A:172)
Allah the Highest sent one messenger after another.When a messenger was sent, all who believe
should follow him.The last prophet and
messenger is Mohamed, prayer and peace upon him, and the last Book is the
Quran, therefore all those who believe should follow him.Allah’s messenger, Mohamed, prayer and peace
upon him, said: “By He who has my soul in his
hand, anyone who hears about me of this nation, Jewish or Christian, and then
does not believe in me, will enter the Fire”.(Muslim)
Allah’s book is one entity, complete, and we should have no
doubt about it or its contents.It is
sent for all of mankind and at all times, for all generations.We should not be thinking that parts of it
are not good for us now, or that it is outdated and old fashioned.
Also, the Quran and Sunnah deal with principles and rules,
sometimes more detailed than other, however we will find always rules, laws and
principles which deal with old and new situations.Muslims should not doubt this for the Quran
and Sunnah guide us to the way to Allah the Highest.Allah the Highest said: “THIS BOOK, ABOUT WHICH THERE IS NO DOUBT, IS GUIDANCE
FOR THE RIGHTEOUS THAT GUARD THEMSELVES FROM ALLAH’S DISPLEASURE”.(S:2 A:2)
